A large portion of 2020 has come and gone, but now that things are starting to open up again & the puppies have gone to their new homes, its time for us to get back on the grind! For the rest of this year we have planned... September 18-20th, UKC Washington Classic @ Argus Ranch, Auburn, WA October 2nd &4th, Barn Hunt @ Ratatat Barn Hunt Club, Snohomish, WA Oct 31st & Nov 1st, UKC Cascade APBT Clun @ Cowlitz Event Center, Longview, WA Dec 31st - Jan 3rd, UKC New Years Bash @ Clark County Event Center, Ridgefield, WA Hopefully we will find a few more events to pop into this year, too. At the Washington Classic, Kurisu is entered in 3 Rally trials to hopefully get her URO1. With the Barn Hunt trial we are hoping both the girls get their RATO (would be the first Kai Ken to do so!!). Bakugo will be showing in his first puppy show at the Longview show! I'd still really like to get Tavi her RA, BN, CD, but I haven't seen any local AKC Rally trials yet.

Last weekend I took the girls to the Cascade American Pit Bull Terrier Club of America's weight pull trial!
On their first try EVER of pulling: Tavi pulled 155lb and Kurisu pulled 275lb!! I was blown away by how strong they are! We will be attending another Weight Pull trial April 4th & 5th in Longview, WA if anyone is interested in coming out! Tavi & Kurisu continue to add more titles to their name-- both girls got their Canine Good Citizens (CGC) titles last month! Additionally, Tavi got her Trick Dog Advanced title and Kurisu got her Trick Dog Novice title! The CGC tests dogs on the 10 different areas below: Next I will be pursuing the CGCA (CGC Advanced) and CGCU (Public Access Test) with both of the girls. They can definitely do it!
Kurisu the Kai Ken wins Best in Show again! We started the year off with the Washington Cluster AKC show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Under honorable judge Laura Reeves from Pure Dog Talk, Kurisu picked up another Best in Show!! Yay!

Kurisu brought home not one, but TWO!! Best in Shows! over 188 & 176 dogs which is our largest show wins yet! i am so honored and grateful judges think so highly of Kurisu.
